Replacing the normal response of a looking to listening within a landscape, I capture the moment and movement of sound at certain times in a place. I make short recordings and slow them down with The Cornell Raven Programme allowing me to see the blurred shapes of each birds song or called other sounds. These then become the score by which I create my drawings and prints, visiting the same spot over several years at the same time recording what is happening there.
